Since X2 comes from reclaimed carpet tile, special care is taken to ensure that it is clean and safe from microbial content. X2 is cleaned and sanitized using a highly automated process. To ensure effectiveness, X2 carpet tile is randomly audited by a 3rd party where X2 carpet tiles are taken at random and analyzed by an American Counsel of Governmental Industrial Hygienists certified lab for microbial content. Testing shows X2 is in the low microbial category which is comparable to brand new carpet tile.
